A Guide on Whether Florida Would Be a Perfect Place to Move

In the previous update of the perfect move series, it was made clear that they are clear pros and cons of living in the Phoenix and Charlotte cities. It is common to find that freelancers will look for a perfect city move in where they can fully enjoy themselves and experience a low cost of living in housing especially because they are not really concerned at the moment about having a family or growing in their careers. This article is going to concentrate on the whole state of Florida, and you’re going to learn more on if Florida could be the perfect move for you.

When I visited Florida six years ago, the first trip I made was to Tallahassee, and almost six years later, I went to work at St. Petersburg. I used Uber rides, and during my numerous rides, I would constantly communicate with the drivers who provided me with information about the good and bad things about living in Florida. What I realized is that most people who live in Florida came from up north. It’s only one person who I met on my trip to St. Petersburg who told me that it is in Florida that they were born and raised. Being concerned about the effects of more people moving into Florida on the cost of housing, I heard many people discussing their housing and how much they paid for the housing. At the moment, the house which they live cost me about $700 a month and if I lived in an equivalent of this house in St. Petersburg Florida, it would cost double. Since the prices were not this high about ten or five years ago it means that the influx of the people who moved to Florida is responsible for the price hikes in housing.

The weather in Florida is so much different from the weather in Virginia where I was raised because in Florida you will have blazing hot summers and very cold winter where you can experience even as low as 50 degrees below 0? mark. Florida would not, therefore, be a good place for me especially also because you will also not find mountains there even though you will experience a subtropical climate and beautiful beaches. In Florida, you’ll find many gators and snakes which will also not make me leave the because I do not intend to find a gator or python on my driveway. You should also know that Florida has beautiful water and is luring for people who love boating or swimming and makes it a good place to visit, though I don’t think I’ll still call Florida home. From my observation, Florida was a bit expensive for me, the weather was not conducive, and the beaches were not enough to make me move now that I am in my prime age.
